This four-wheel drive route starts at the town site of Middleton northeast of Silverton, colorado. The road goes 4.1 miles up Maggie Gulch to near the continental divide with a starting elevation of 9,800' and ending elevation of 11,900'. The route offers beautiful mountain scenery and some of the best wildflower viewing in the state along with one of the few stamp mills in the state that remains standing; the Interstate mill and mine.
