Lower Ice Lakes Basin is one of the two gorgeous basins on the Ice Lakes Trail near Silverton, Colorado. The lower basin traverses thewildflower filled meadow in the summer and passes a couple waterfalls. but keep in mind, it is a steep 2 mile, 1600' climb to see and photograph it. I was happy to share this beautiful location with my friend Kyla Prestwood who is new to hiking and photography.
